How do I get my event included on the Good Food Network?

If your event is already included on the Good Food Network you need to navigate to your listing and click on the link at the bottom of page that reads "I represent this event and want to get involved". If your event is not included click here to suggest an event. Once we've receive notification from you we'll get in touch as quickly as we can to set you up with a login and password and let you take control

What does it cost to be included?

It is completely free to be included on the Good Food Network and take advantage of these great benefits. We also offer affordable annual membership options to help you promote your event online. Our basic membership is £100 a year and lets you cultivate greater awareness of your event with additional pages and prominence on the Good Food Network. Our full membership is £200 a year and lets you communicate your news and more to bring your event to life.

How do I take out membership?

You can upgrade to basic or full membership from within your account at any time. Simply sign in and click the upgrade link provided. You can also upgrade your membership from basic to full membership at any point in your membership year.

Am I tied in to a contact?

No. We don't believe in tying people in to a contract. Your membership will run for one year from the date you upgrade and at the end of this period it will automatically expire. We will notify you when your year is almost up to give you the chance to renew. With all of the fantastic benefits that our memberships bring we think you'll be as keen as mustard to stay involved.

Why do you charge for membership?

Our aim is to support fantastic food events by providing an effective and affordable platform to promote your event and connect with your target market. By taking a membership fee we are able to invest in promoting the Good Food Network and in developing exciting new features to keep making the website better and better.

How do I get a large signpost for my event on the map?

If you upgrade to basic or full membership you will benefit from priority positioning in the search results as well as a large signpost for your event on the map. You can upgrade to basic or full membership upgrade from within your account at any time.

How can I respond to a review about my event?

If you upgrade to full membership you are able to post a response to any review posted about your event.

How do I delete a review about my event?

If someone has posted false or misleading information about your event in a review, or posted something that you think is in breach of our community guidelines, you can use the link immediately underneath the review to report it. Your objection to the review will then be assessed and, if upheld, the review will be deleted

What is more, here at the Good Food Network, we monitor all negative feedback closely. So if someone is shown to be deliberately posting defamatory reviews we will take action to deleted these reviews and suspend the account of the individual responsible.

How do I hide my review page?

If you would rather not have a review page on the Good Food Network you can hide it from within your account. Please note that you will need to become a full member to hide your review page and that hiding it will result in your event falling to the bottom of any search results sorted by ranking.

How do I post photos onto the photo wall for my event?

If you upgrade to full membership you can post official photos about your event to your photo wall. We kindly ask that you refrain from posting information about your event unofficially, as a food lover or otherwise (please see our terms and conditions for more information). We believe our membership is exceptional value for money and rely this income to continue to promote and develop the Good Food Network.

I do not want my address or location page shown. How do I hide this?

To hide these elements you need to sign in to your account and click to change the address for your event. You can select to hide both your address and/or location page from within this view.

How does my news get communicated?

If you upgrade to full membership you can communicate with food lovers by posting to your news page. Your news is automatically added to the news from your county page in the news and nonsense section. It is also communicated directly to individuals who follow your event through their news wall or by email.

How do my events get communicated?

If you upgrade to full membership you can post details of events that you are hosting on your events page. These are automatically included on the events calendar for food lovers to discover. A news item is also automatically published about your event and included as part of your news feed.

I already have a facebook or twitter account. What's in it for me?

Facebook and twitter are excellent social network platforms but they are not everybody's cup of tea. The Good Food Network is an open platform that offers you an audience extending far beyond the typical social network demographic. Furthermore by registering on the Good Food Network individuals have already identified themselves as lovers of good food and drink, presenting an unequalled opportunity for you to connect directly with your target market.

What's more as it has been designed specifically for food and drink events the Good Food Network boasts an unrivalled set of features targeted at promote your event online.

If you are already a member of facebook or twitter and want to continue to communicate on these platforms simply link your account and we'll post your news out to your wall or feed for you.

I do not want to receive emails from the Good Food Network, what should I do?

If you no longer want to receive emails from the Good Food Network, about reviews you have received or anything else simply sign in to your account and update your email preferences

How do I advertise on the Good Food Network?

Events that are included on the Good Food Network can design and place and advertisement from within their account. If you are not included on the Good Food Network and would like to place an advertisement please contact us.
