We love SPONGE cakes, they taste homemade, are generous in size and are dangerously more-ish (which is not so good for our waistlines as we never manage to have just one piece). We'd recommend the Apple Crumble, which has hunks of apple hidden in the sponge, a crumble topping and a tasty buttercream filling. For the cake traditionalists amongst you the Victoria sponge also gets our seal of approval.
General Information
We sold SPONGE in our own cafe and deli in Holt for nine years. The reputation and following was immense, therefore, we thought we would share a bit of SPONGE with everyone who loves cakes delivered to their door.
Using quality ingredients, our cakes are made with love and care in small batches. Our cake makers have taken a traditional product with old school standards and given it an up to date feel.
SPONGE cakes love to be eaten inside 7 days and can be frozen. We supply sponge by the individual wedge and as 7" or 10" cakes delivered across the UK.
